National German Week, Oct. 1-7

In observance of National German Week in the United States (Oct. 1-7), we note that the MLA International Bibliography indexes more than 1200 periodicals that publish articles in German and more than 100 Websites on German culture, language, and literature.

Among the latter: the Goethezeitportal, dedicated to the study of the life, works, and times of Johann Wolfgang Goethe and hosted at the Centre of Electronic Publishing in Arts (ZEPL) at Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich.
